Parsonalities och Greviehills - what's behind the
names?
Parsonalities is our registered kennelprefix, listed with the FCI
since April 2004.
We intend to breed Parson Russell Terriers made for
show, work and fun. Greviehills is the nickname of the area where we live.
When we moved here the road had no official name, just a little sign with
the name Greviehills on it. Parsonalities belongs to me, Anette Ahlgren. I
earn my living as a chemical engineer at a Danish company in Lund and keep
my spare time occupied with our three parsons and my horse Mickey. The
husband, Peter, works as product manager at a German company in Malmö. When
he isn't busy making sure the dogs and I have all we need, he wears out
runningshoes, plays floorball or water polo.We like downhill skiing.
Our dogs in chronological order:
Parson Russell Terrier
J SUCh Jackpack PG
Popper is the dog who
has taught us most of what we know about dogs and this fantastic breed. His
personality is really cool, he won't do anything he dosen't want to. But if
there is something in it for him he'll give you all his best and more! He
was born August 17th 1999 at Kennel Jackpack in Sätila, and moved in with us
in October -99. We lived with Popper about 6 months in a flat, and moved to
our small horsefarm with an all fenced garden in July -00. A much better
place for a dog, compared with the flat at fifth floor. Popper entered a dog
show for the first time as a puppy, and I found it fascinating and fun to
show our dog and to meet other people with the same breed. At his first
official show, he got his first CAC and I was really into it. He became
Swedish show champion in 2002. Through the Swedish parson club we was
introduced to ground work with terriers. Popper had great natural talent and
the trainer made us want to try the tests. He is a bit on the big side in
size (~15") but passed the bolting tests with excellence and earned his
title "J". On October 18th 2007 he was neutered because one of his testicles
had grown since the summer and we didn't want to expose him for any large
risk to get ill in cancer.

J SUCh DkUCh KBHV-07 NUCh NordUCh NV-07 IntUCh Jackpack Jonatan von
Whopperson
Jonte is our "little brother" who came to us about 6
months earlier than we really had planned. He was born September 4th 2002 at
Kennel Jackpack in Sätila (who still is a co-owner), and moved in with us in
November -02. His personality is the most fantastic - he has a gentle and
kind way with most things and will most certainly never challenge Popper in
being the male boss. Jonte holds a working certificate (ground work) and is
Swedish and Danish show champion (both titles earned from working class)
with several BOB's. He also got the title KBHV-07 in September 2007 after
being best male (BOS) at the Copenhagen Winner Show 2007. In November 2007
he also got the titles Norwegian and Nordic show champion, Norwegian
Winner-07 and International show champion at the Norwegian Winner show in
Hamar. Since Popper was trained and tested for ground work, it was a matter
of course that Jonte should do the same. He is smaller (at the ideal parson
size ~14") and has it a lot easier with the constrictions in the corridors.
He enjoys the training and is fast, flexible and mobile under ground. He
passed his bolting tests easily with excellence and earned his title "J".
Jonte has mated 3 bitches and the result has been 2, 7 and 2 puppies. He is
available for suitable bitches according to agreement with Marie Eriksson at
Kennel Jackpack.

Parson Russell Terrier
J Revefotens Wannabe White Russian
Russin is our first bitch (- in all means!) who we hope will be the
foundation in our future breeding. She is a happy girl that likes to be
where things are going on. With two bodyguards as backup it's easy to be
spirited. She was born February 3rd 2006 at Kennel Revefoten in Norway, and
moved to Sweden in April -06. Her showing career has just started, with BOB
as a junior and youngster so far (both in Sweden and in Denmark), and more
to come (we hope). She has also begun her working education by ground work
training (bolting) on badgers. May 25th 2007 she passed her first test the
"character" where the disposition and sharpness is tested. She passed her
first bolter trial on badger September 9th 2007 and got the "J" which means
she has got a working certificate. Her second bolter trial on badger she
passed October 7th 2007. Blood tracking is another thing she practices and
here she has passed the aptitude test, and also the first official test.

More Parson Russell Terriers will follow
Our first puppies are planned to arrive this
summer.
We plan to mate Russin in May and if everything follows the plan
we will have puppies
in July/August 2008.
If you are interested in one of our puppies, you are
welcome to contact us.
We keep us updated with the Swedish Kennelclub's
recommendations and we follow
the regulations for swedish breeders according to SKK and FCI.
We intend to breed healthy parsons with excellent mentality, working ability and
exterior. It might seem to be high goals, but to us the quality is very
important.
To keep up with our aim, our own dogs are tested in ground work, shown at both
national and international dog shows and have been evaluated mentally.
The external dogs we plan to use in our breeding must also match our
expectations.
Since the parson russell terrier is an underground hunting breed, the size of
the
dogs is also very important.
We would like to follow the puppies growing and
progress, so we hope to get a
very good contact with the persons who buy their dog from us.
The puppies leave us at earliest 8 weeks of age.
They are registred in SKK,
have been micro-chipped, dewormed, vaccinated and are inspected by a veterinary
according to SKK's recommendations. They are delivered with at least the
following:
*Pedigree
*Contract of sale
*A small blanket with mummy's scent
*Some food
*Toy and some snacks
*A collar
